Christmas Party Christmas Day in the Valley is the single happiest day of the year in Golden Valley. It’s a day the children look forward to and talk about all year long. Each year, our annual Christmas party blesses more than 650 children with a Christmas gift, a warm meal, a juice, and an ice lolly. For many of them, this is the only Christmas celebration they will experience. This special day takes months of planning and the help of over 150 volunteers to make it possible. There are many ways you can get involved — from donating toward Christmas gifts (R150 per gift), to helping pack the presents (an event in itself!), to volunteering on the day and being one of the many hands that bring joy and hope to our children.
