Marno, Eustace & Vonnie Are Running Out of Time
Three brothers. Foundations already laid. And a borrowed roof that could be taken from them any day.
Of all the families we are walking alongside, this is the one the clock is working against.
Marno (14), Eustace (12) and Vonnie (7) are three brothers we have known for many years. When the storm came, it wiped out their home entirely — not part of it, all of it.
They have since moved into a farm house, where their mother's boyfriend works for the farmer. But they are not permitted to stay. The eviction could come any day. That is what makes this the most urgent of all the rebuilds: these boys may lose even this borrowed shelter before a new home of their own is ready.

Love Looks Like Something
It is the kind of detail that stays with you. Not a complaint, not a request — just a small boy in clothes meant for someone twice his size, making do with what little the storm left behind.
There is good news in the middle of it. The foundations for the new home have already been started. The slab is being prepared. What is needed now is funding to finish — to turn that concrete into walls, a roof, and a home these boys cannot be evicted from. This is the most time-sensitive build of the six, and the one where your help will land fastest.
We have already proven it can be done. The first of the six homes was completed in a matter of weeks, built for a fraction of its true cost because the community gave materials and skilled labour freely. We can do the same here — but for this family, the timing matters more than for any other.
